What's up! My name is Ember, I'm a mom of 3 (plus our two dogs). I'm happily married to the love of my life and biggest crush since middle school. I've always loved to create art, my passion started when I was very small. I took as many art classes as I was allowed all through high school and eventually started online classes through the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Video Game Art & Design. I was unable to finish school, so instead dedicated my time to my (at the time) two infant children. I kept drawing intermittently over the years, both for fun and commissions, but never thought I could actually pursue a real career in art. I went into fitness and became a class instructor for two fitness classes and a certified personal trainer. I did this for several years, but it never felt like home. I became overwhelmed and depressed, so I dove completely back into my art to relieve some stress. I was finally able to design some of my own tattoos (as well as one for my husband), and that was when I was told by three different tattoo artists that I could make this a living. My brother being one of them, I finally took the plunge and asked him to help me get started. From there I enrolled in another online program called Tattooing 101, where I learned everything there is to know about hygienic procedures and sterilization, got my BBP and First Aid certifications, and all of the history, art and basics of tattooing. I got my license and enrolled in additional courses to further my education and will continue to learn and grow as I move forward with my new career!
